New for 2019

What's New for 2019

Have you heard about why year 3 of this epic cycling tour is going to be the best yet?

We've listened to feedback from past riders and the cycling community and we're working on some pretty big changes for 2019!

Who better to take you through the new course and innovations than Tour De France commentator Matt Keenan, check out our course preview video with Matt below.

  • A brand new course - we're using the same stunning roads but taking some of the sting out of the ride (so you'll have plenty left in the legs for the infamous climb up Obi Obi)

  • Every stage will start at the Velo Clubhouse in Cotton Tree Park, making race morning logistics so much easier. We suggest staying near the Clubhouse so it's an easy roll to the start line each day, where you can grab a coffee, catch the Tour de France highlights on the big screen and watch the sun rise over the Maroochy river.

  • Riding without the rigmarole - more transport options for riders and bikes where required, gear bag drop at the Clubhouse, bike mechanics, massage tent...everything you need to ride, relax, repeat for 3 days in the winter sun.

  • Medals for all finishers of the 3-day ride and a revamped finish line to celebrate your achievement.

  • Cool new rider jersey designs - a gift to all 3-day riders.
